    Hi

    I’ve not managed to find anything as yet. I’m guessing (apologies) that the cpds will have a munch on some of the young shrimp and the large shrimp will do the same to some eggs. Once I make space, I’m getting another group, and will not keep shrimp with them to see if it makes any difference.

    Mine are wild caughts (Apparently) and were very timid. Still are really, but when I come into the room now they do dart towards the front of the tank in the hope of food.

    I agree. The gravid spot is very evident…as long as your eyesight it decent. lol

    I’d love to advise but still waiting for mine to breed. Gorgeous fish though. Fingers crossed we both do it!

    My tank is approx 40 litres, heavily planted with mainly java moss. Tiny powerfilter and a sponge filter. I just feed crushed flake.

    My local maidenhead has a tank full….Beverley East Yorkshire. Not a massive drive for such lovely fish. I got mine for £4 each. They are up for £4.25 each.

    Nothing really other than three L134 plecs which keep themselves to themselves. Other than that just cherry shrimp.

    thanks good to know. I’ve dramatically reduced the shrimp numbers just incase. Just need them to spawn now.

    I’d be happy to become a mod. Although looking at the traffic through the site, no offence, there isn’t much need for one?

    I’d be happy to try and push the name of the site around. I suppose like you say, the initial hype has died down, which is strange because they are still fantastic fish!

    Ged, what pellets do you use for your shrimp (and gpds). I currently feed my cherry shrimp hikari micro pellets which they love but always like to vary things.
