Your plants would do much much better in a good substrate.
Tom2006ParticipantGREAT set up…love your fish room!!!
Tom2006ParticipantGreat stuff! Superb to hear so many are visiting! Shame there isn’t more activity but maybe in time.
Tom2006ParticipantSOLD
Tom2006ParticipantEverything I have seen and read seems to suggest moving the parents out is the best way forward.

Good price. They are going up and up around here
Tom2006ParticipantIt certainly sounds like they have brought an illness with them! Good luck in the treatment
Tom2006Participantgreat stuff!! Thanks for the link
Tom2006Participantthey seem very prone to swim bladder issues, especially when young. Glad you have seven healthy ones, they will soon produce more.
Tom2006Participantdo you have a maidenhead aquatics near you? If so they nearly always sell some.
Tom2006ParticipantHow many are you after? I have a few I could post your way. I could probably spare five if that is any good, I would make sure you got both males and females. You could choose the postal method. I have poly boxes, heat packs and bags etc and have posted them before. I wouldn’t be after much for the fish though, say £4 each?
Tom2006Participantare these new fish then? Or have they been nice and happy until you started to add the new chemicals?
Tom2006Participantyes more than possible. Most fish can jump at times, although probably not deliberately to get out as such.
