I know this topic has been discussed before, but I though since it’s the first of the year and all, it was time for a re-visit.
I’m in the central Ohio, US region, and CPD’s are not and have not been available at any of the local stores.
I mail ordered my first group a couple of years ago for $6.50 each from Tom & Nevin at AquariumFish.net…

December 28, 2009 at 7:58 pm #14235BallAquaticsParticipantThanks Tom! That’s about what I paid for mine, 4.25 GBP = 6.80349 USD.

January 8, 2010 at 7:46 pm #14243BallAquaticsParticipantHi Daveyravey! Thanks for the info. At £1.99 thats quite a bit less than stores around Tom.
I’ve seen them called Fireworks Rasbora and Chili Rasbora too!

October 20, 2010 at 4:08 pm #14618KatchParticipantJust purchased a breeding group of CPDs in the Southwest UK.
£5 or 2 for £9 Maidenhead Aquatics (small fish)
£2.25 from a LFS who only had 7 (not standard stock, fully grown and beautiful looking stock)
If I get fry I’ll be selling privately to local keepers if there is any interest.
October 20, 2010 at 9:21 pm #14621DododeParticipantHere in croatia we have one super store  CPD r 4,71 $ – small but healthy
Other’s stores r much expansive 7,54 $.
But here was some extra breeding activity so we have ‘low cost’ CPD’s now more then ever :lol:October 20, 2010 at 9:29 pm #14622BallAquaticsParticipantKatch and Dodode, thanks for the updates!
While these guys aren’t terribly hard to spawn, they are a bit tougher to produce in quantity like some of the other Danios.

October 21, 2010 at 7:50 pm #14623AquaGirlParticipantA LFS, (that I help out with free inverts advice ) just ordered me 6 at $4.00 @. I am in heaven! They gave me a price break.
Picking up 6 more tonight from a friend who purchased them for me from her LFS. These were $6.00@.
March 27, 2011 at 10:42 pm #14875mackParticipanti paid £3.75 each for mine
so i’m hoping to breed them & get more into the trade,so A-prices come down & B-more people own this beautiful fish
March 27, 2011 at 11:18 pm #14876BallAquaticsParticipantHi Mack, thanks for the info & welcome to the forum!
