Hi all,
When making your own bbs, use Iodine(Jod) free salt, 32gr per 1 Liter and 16 gr of brine ship eggs. Air line to the bottom of the bottle and after 12-18 hours your first bbs will have hatched, the last ones should hatch after maximal 36 hours, you could always feed the bbs with liquifry no.1

L168ParticipantL168ParticipantHi again,
I havent got a digicam at the moment ive wished for a DSLR camera for my birthday (40 in November) so once ive got it i hope theres server space for the photos
I just checked one of our Freshwater shrimp sites and found out that someones selling 9 Wild Caught (F0) Celestichthys margaritatus as well, i hope i was the first to pn and email, id pick them up like tomorrow if i was.
Im hoping to bring a big enough gene pool into my project and have enough aquariums to house them. With 9 W/C and 20 F1 from someone else id have to select carefully not wanting to mate brother with sister etc.
Ohh Forgot to say the cichlid i keep are mainly Julidochromis speices from the Lake Tanganjika, i have J. Transcriptus Gombi, J. Transcriptus Kissi, J. Ornatus “Yellow”, J. Ornatus Albino, J. Regani Kipili. Im trying to get a few more different locations but its not easy.
Im also a Moderator on the German Forum http://www.cichlidenwelt.de

L168ParticipantF0 is Wild caught Or the start of a new line, F1 first generation, F2 fry from F1 line etc etc…
Ive just realised ive not introduced myself, My names Peter, im married with 2 teenage daughters (nightmare dont ask ) Im english but live and work in Germany
Ive been keeping mainly cichlids for the last 25 years, but since i saw the Microrasbora sp. ‘Galaxy’ at last years Duisberg fish-fair ive been mad about it. My fishroom has 2 600L Aquariums and 19 112L aquariums.
What im trying now is a breending setup for Microrasbora sp. ‘Galaxy’ using 12 L tanks per pair keeping the pair in there for a maximum of 5 days them returing them to the main setup.
