the Nannacara Anomala are also known as golden eye dwarf cichlids.Chris if you would like to try either of these or any of my other dwarfs you are more than welcome to visit and pick some juviniles up from me.(this go’s to anyone else who lives local).
They are a lot more interesting to breed than the CPD’s and any other egg scatterer’s, they show a great deal of parental care. In fact i am now thinking of getting rid of my CPD’S to free up a bit of space for some new fish.how would you know  lol just joking mate
i have been looking at cichlids but am useless identifying them as you can tell.
thanks for the offer i would love to but live 3 hours away thanks agin and hope you do stick round even if you do get rid of the cpds

chr15_8Participanthad to kill no.1 this evening
was at the surface jumping for about 10 seconds the lay flat (on its side) and started to swim round in circles really fast (havent seen my cpds move so fast) do it for about to mins and stopped and just layed on its side then it started to jump again! it stopped for about a minite and starting to breath really hard and shaking so i out it in a bowl (quickest thing to get) caught it put it in the for 10 mins with an airstone and towel over to make it dark and was shaking even more.
so i made the decision to kill it (was the hardest thing ive done in a long time)
on a good note no2 is alive still and seems to have recoved. been doing water changes every other day replacing lost salt. will keep him in there for another week and will slowly reduce the salt level to normall again.
i think both illness’ have been caused by water quailty when i went alway due to excess feeding
on a good note i found a fry (first one since i got back!)
chrischr15_8Participantthanks
i totaly forgot about raising the tank temp (in the hospital tank)
epsom(epson) salts. could i use marine salt? or is it a special salt?
thanks again chris
