I’m using a Cannon Rebel T1i with the standard 18-55mm IS Lens + UV Filter.
The “IS” on the lens is shake control which lets me take those picks without a tripod and right up next to the glass with the flash on.The camera is a little pricy but it makes up for less than steller camera skill plus it does full 720p movies which is better than most of the dedicated low/mid range camcorders.

brad.clarkstonParticipantThanks for the tip, I’ll have to watch for that tho I normally remove the adults.

brad.clarkstonParticipantI feed all of my fish Ocean Nutrition’s line of flake food:
Brine Shrimp Plus
Formula Two
Community Formula
Spirulina Flakescrushed into fine peaces and I switch out the type every day. I haven’t found a fish yet outside of pleco’s and Discus that won’t eat it.

brad.clarkstonParticipantAll fish excluding pleco and cats will eat shrimp if they can even if it’s just nibbles here and there if they are to small it’s just a matter of if they are hungry enough to chase the shrimp down.

Hi, can you guys help me with some ‘homework’ for work?
While talking with my boss about our aquatic plants for sale I commented there were many weird ones nobody had heard of, and few common ones.
I get to make a list of suggestions to give. Want hardy plants too, most aquarium people wanting plants don’t know too much about them.
So far got these:
Corkscrew vallisneria – Vallisneria asiatica var. biwaensis
Foxtail – Ceratophyllum demersum
Water Lettuce – Pistia
Blyxa japonica Japanese rush
Java moss
anubas nana
Hairgrass Eleocharis acicularis
Anachris
Willow moss
Water Wisteria – Hygrophila difformisAny ones to add or discourage would be great.

I wouldn’t add Blyxa to the list unless they have good light (as in T5 with reflector good) and a fert regiment otherwise it will have growth problems.
