I think we had better create a new captive bred breed called something Latin ashtrayicus something Latin. This is the chance of a lifetime…or not! Haha!
Cheers!
Jeffrey…Well if you find a new species of fish there’s a chance part of the latin might be named after you. It does happen.

No worries about storage space. I think Chris might’ve added the “warning” in case users had slow connections. Keep posting em, Glenn!
Not to mention the fact that is you want to see what the last user said, you have scroll, and scroll, and scroll till they’re all loaded.

atlantis_childParticipantJust out of curiousity, where do you get your live micro worms and paramecia? Your local petstore or some where else…?
– Atlantis Child
atlantis_childParticipantAw, so you don’t actually know the answer to the question…
– Atlantis Child
atlantis_childParticipantI was asking if it was not the obvious thing. Didn’t I say that? Huh?
And yes, ste 12000, next time I go across the ocean to that little island you live on I will track you down and…take whatever action I consider necessary. ( glowers darkly )

atlantis_childParticipantYou just made my day, saying you only want captive breds. Not everyone is so concerned. Myself, I never would have bought them knowing their status, but too late now. Now I just wait and wait for my fish to decide to stop fooling around and have kids. I think raising a whole bunch and finding good homes for them would help ease my guilt.
Now, at the risk of being called a blode by he-knows-who, ( ste12000. cough, cough )I have to ask. You collect ashtrays as in the ones people dump their cigereetes in, right? Not some crazy type or fish or other thing.
– Atlantis Child
atlantis_childParticipantWhat are you implying there, ste 12000, eh? That the burping fish question’s answer is obvious? If so, kindly inform.
And no, I am not blonde. Dark brown hair with red tint. And it ain’t dyed that way either…

atlantis_childParticipantYay! Great news.

atlantis_childParticipantWell Bloody hell. I have to revive this thread to annouce the death of another adult snail. Also died mysteriosly.
When I got back from vacation I found Eclipse (yes, I name my snails…) on my aquaria stand tight in his/her shell. Remeber hearing they could survive being out, I put it back in the tank.
Next morning it was half in, half out of the water.
Next morning after, at the botttom, alive but not moving.
Next morningafter that, in dead snail posistion, unresponsive.Anyone got any ideas what the problem is?

atlantis_childParticipantAbout an inch or two down. My dad couldn’t bring as much of the pure water he gets from work cuz I misplaced the spigots on the water container.
But it’s a ten gallon tank, and the water was at it’s usual parameters when I tested it when I got back.
Does having lower water make jump or something? Bit confused here.
– Atlantis Child
atlantis_childParticipantOh, forgot to add. My platies also eat bubbles. Dunno how that works out for them. Fish can’t burp. Can they…?
– Atlantis Child
atlantis_childParticipantYah need 2 threads for same words? Oh well, I deleted already.
Welcome back. Seems you had much better luck with your fish than I with mine.
