I’ve been noticing this behaviour too amongst same sex CPDs I just put it down to being a homosexual CPD mating dance :lol:

I can’t help you there mate, even though mine are spawning regularly I have never seen the eggs.

They are supposed to be tiny and therefore could be easily misten for other particles, such as liquifry or or powder food that has sunk to the bottom or into the moss.

Great set up, tank looks nice though I personally would put java moss into the breeding section.

To breed this fish all you really need is good quality water & java moss, even in a community tank you’ll get a few fry that way.

I had something similar last week, put some java moss into a my whiteclouds tank for a week, then transferred isome into the CPD tank. got all exited when I saw fry after 3 days, but as they grew I realised they were W.M.M. not CPDs.

back to the drawing board.

Apart from what the others have mentioned I also noticed that my adults eat liquifry No3, they even go to the top for it.
