It was only just over 1/2 a bucketful I changed that was really dirty from syphoning the gravel, so about 8 litres (30%). I kept most of the water in the 25 litre bucket with the CPD’s. The tank is already cycled and the sponge/ceramic media from the filter were placed in a fine mesh bag above an airstone in the bucket with the CPD’s aswell, to preserve nitrifying bacteria. I will test the water anyway. Thanks for your suggestions though. :)

I got 5 from BAS in Bolton. They were 5 for £18.00.

Thanks for your reply! :) Yes a few people on various forums/websites are recommending Java Moss. I’ve just been to my local fish shops but no-one stocks it and can’t seem to get it. An online purchase again me thinks. I bought some natural coloured silica Aquasand as i’ve read sand is the substrate where they are from. I’m guessing this will also help disguise eggs as the grains are of a similar size. I also bought a small n-ish shaped piece of bogwood. I’ll post some more pics up after i’ve made these changes. A trip to the 25 litre bucket for my CPD’s for a few hours I think.

Also, I feed them on TetraMin Crisps. Are these enough to meet their dietary requirements? Thanks!

I’m guessing it’s planeria. Nothing to worry about. Just cut down on feeding.

Here is a really bad link:
