Actually, I need another tank anyway. I’ve nowhere to raise any fry right now, and it would probably be better if that was all in place before they arrive.

That makes 4 tanks… No, no, what an I thinking, I don’t have space for that many tanks. Drat.

    Well I have 2 males and 3 females…

Maybe this is the excuse I need to get another tank! :) After all, a 10 gallon tank is only 13 dollars or so at petsmart. Then again, a heater is bloody expensive.

Well I wouldn’t call it essential. Some of the material is useful, mainly the part on behavior, habitat and breeding. Much of the rest of it is not very useful or impossible to understand (by me, the amatuer anyway)

But if you can understand all of what they’re talking about, all the power to you.

What is the min. crude protein, fibre and fat analysis for your flakes and/or the brand name, madattiver?

Actually, what would be annoying is the white clouds breeeding instead. Mine aren’t nearly as colorful as those in the picture.

I really hope that they don’t interbreed, unlikely as it is. In my opinion the galaxies are way preatier that the white clouds.

    Besides, I want galaxy babies!

I was giving regular flake food, but now that I’m trying to make them more breed-happy, I’ve started with frozen brine shrimp.

Where do you get your live daphnia?

I bought frozen brine shrimp. I was going to get bloodworms, but comparing the nutrional information, the brine shrimp were better.
