At night, my females’ gravid spots turn pink and in the morning they become black again. Is that normal/okay?
    Why “don’t buy top fin”?

Because they sell a huge number of defect products that could potentially kill fish.

Yep when the gravid is red it means the babies are sleeping when the gravid is black the fry are awake.

That’s what I thought! YAY! I had heard somewhere that the eggs are pink so young guppies and unfertilized females have pink gravid spots because you can see their unfertilized eggs. I was pretty sure that it was just the sleeping fry. I am expecting 3 drops within the next week-2 weeks tops! My first female, and most gorgeous, is VERY pregnant! I have seen my wild guppies breeding with my fancy females so I might have some interesting mixes in my half-black’s and orange tailed’s next batches!
