Reply To: Anyone into breeding guppies?
I got two males from my LFS and they aren’t as pretty as some of the ones I have had in the past so I am going to keep my eyes peeled for some winners and replace the ones I got today. If not, I hope they carry the genes I want. (They were only 33ยข together so no big loss if I end up replacing them.) I discovered that my 9 baby fancy guppies belong to the half black female I have… I have a gorgeous yellow “tattooed” male (he’s not very big or larged finned but has stunning markings) and I’m hoping that some of his traits are present in her (and all of my females’) next batches. Does anyone know if half black is a dominant coloring over others? Or what colorings are dominant for guppies?
