seriously though in the Uk i do not think there would be many people willing to hand over their housekeys to a complete stranger while away for two weeks.

Leave the keys to a trusted neighbor. Have them let person in to deal with the fish. Dunno.

Yeah, I guess we’re pretty trusting over here.

Another idea I just had was if there were such things as fish clubs where people know each other they could look volunteer looking after fish for each other.
