Bananaworms, are those the worms you get from the drosophila melanogaster (or something like that, just remembering from biology classes in highschool;)). Those aren’t very small, are they?

I’m afraid I’m loosing some fry to hydra:S

I don’t know about the partitions, but I’d like to say a bit about the plants!

It really is almost a necesity to add plants if you want to create a healthy environment. Plants filter water from nasty things, they reduce algae by ‘eating’ the things algae need and they provide oxigen. If you don’t have enough light for plants, it probably isn’t enough for your fish either.

I have plenty of fry left in the mature tank, but don’t expect any of them to grow up since my honey gourami’s are always hungry… I don’t seem to be getting any baby shrimp anymore too since I got the couple of gourami’s:)

The little tank in which they are now also has loads of snails and shrimp. I’m a bit afraid the little fish won’t be able to get to the food before the shrimp do… Catching the shrimp really is no option:S I now tend to overfeed a bit, so there’s enough for everyone. The shrimp and snails are very good cleaners.

Do you think it is enough to feed them just the liquifry 1 and powdered granulate? This is what I did last time, and the four cpd’s I raised then stayed rather smallish.
I now ‘added’ a bit of ditch water, but is this a good idea? I the risk for pests to great, or not?
