How do you stop the fry that swim into the fry section being able to go back out?

I cant till there big enough?!?
but for some reason they all stay in that side ?
maybe its the slight current in the water?
when I got the divider I didnt realizt the holes would be that big (or the fry would be that small LOL)
but for now its working well (fingers crossed)

Bit fiddly but the best way is to mix the liqui fry with a bit of tank water in a cup, use a syringe or pipete and mix it well, then just squirt it into your tank.
Thanks. Have tried it this way and is much better – no film on the top of the water. Cheers guys.

And of course, congrads for getting fry!
Thanks and oh “HOW”
well I just drop a drop or two from a few mm above the water and let it fizz on top of the water! it stays pretty still and in the right area for the fry!
so I hope this is ok?symmo

my breeding tank was about 25 liters, so 50 liters is good enough, i think you can better have more females than males in your breeding tank, and put a lot of javamoss in it for the eggs and fry, and when you’ve fry it’s better to take them out or use the divider.
Thats the plan then thanks
symmoParticipantWe’ll be keeping all our CPDs together in the one tank. How does 10 sound? 7F 3M, or 6F 4M, or 5 of each? Do you think thats enough for a 50L tank, or should we use the divider from the beginning so they’re a little more ‘cozy’!?
Symmo
symmoParticipantThanks thats good news…
I have ordered lots of java moss to and some tall plants so the tank should be well planted by the time the fish go in!!Im now in 2 minds about the shrimps I dont want them to eat the eggs but not sure wot to put in to control the algae maybe an otto or 2 ?
