Sweet! I didn’t know there were algae eating shrimp. I will look into this and hopefully can find the right shrimp at my LFS. I am also studying up more on keeping aquatic plants, and it seems that I could probably do some other stuff to try and discourage algae growth. I’ve bought some fertilizer I was gonna use for the plants, but I was waiting because I figured a tank so new probably has plenty of nutrients in it (I used good potting soil and a bit of peat moss under the sand). But maybe I’ll give that a try, and also keeping the lights on for less time during the day…
