I feed mine Ken’s golden pearls 200-300 micron, frozen daphnia, NLS Thera+A small, frozen bbs, ken’s earthworm sticks, and ken’s color sticks. Can’t feed them any live foods as my dad won’t allow me to keep a culture, but the foods I’m feeding now should suffice.

When you seed a new culture, do you throw away the old culture?

I’m really sorry for asking so many questions. I’m such a noob at live foods.

When you say start a new culture, does that mean to take some of the old culture and put it into the new one? Or buy a whole new culture?

Ok. I ordered golden pearls 200 – 300 microns from Kensfish yesterday. I hope they arrive soon.

Can I feed the golden pearls as a staple if I don’t have live food?

Also, in the summer I will have BBS, daphnia, banana and walter worms.
