It sunk down to nothing and now the whole piece of wood is covered in green algae.

I’m glad somebody has experienced the same thing. I’ll keep sucking as much off as I can. It seems like algae is starting to move in on the fuzz, hopefully it will choke it out.

It doesn’t appear to be thread-like, it’s more like a morphus blob. Sort of chunky though, not uniform in depth.

I had a pearl danio for about 2 years, it was a female and died from the same symptoms. It seemed more like old age to me at the time because she was the biggest danio I had ever seen.

Mine seem to enjoy HBH Baby Bites guppy and fry food, along with Tetramin Granules which I crush. They don’t seem to like any flakes I’ve tried. Occasionally I give them crushed freeze dried baby gamerus (tiny shrimp by Tetra). They ignore shrimp pellets by Wardley, along with Wardley’s freeze dried tubiflex, and krill.
