Hey guys and dolls, moved the remaining CPDs into a mate’s 120L planted last night, hopefully they will settle in nicely. Found 2 random fry hiding in my tank today!!!! Dont know but I think they are Celestials, going to put them into the other tank tonight. I cant believe with all the traffic in my tank that I seen them or that they survived…. Assuming of course they are CPD’s of course, we might have another successful breed soon! Sneaky little buggers
Hey guys, thanx for the input. After a 30% water change and a big feed, she did start to look better. Unfortunately my girl gave up this morning, found her tangled in my whisteria. I’m devastated to say the least. She is only the 2nd fish I have lost in about 8 months of fish keeping. It had to be an endangered fish didn’t it…. When I pulled her out I noticed her scales were back to normal and she was getting her colour back. Don’t know what happened really, the others all look great. There was a higher male to female ratio and now it is one more in the males favour, thinking about ripping them out to put them in a heavily planted 120L on their own that a mate has. Just means I wont get to admire these wonderful fish everyday.
