more pics will be on the way tommorow afte ri cut the plants down
just got back. mates have work tomorrow and where out last night (which is why im back so early)
chris
chr15_8Participanton the instructions it says to put liquifry in 2 times a day at 1 drop per 4 litres.
so 50 /(divide) 4 =
about 13 drops twice a day
(im assuming by what you say youhave a divider so will have to feed the whole tank in my opinion)
why do you feed your liquifry?

Geez!!! Have you thought about selling one or both cars and getting a bike? (Seriously) What’s gas like over there? It’s about $3.00 a gallon over here…
petrol is about 97p per litre which is $3.67 we then have to pay roadtax which for my car (small car) is £110 ($220) most are about £170($340) then insurance
my insurance is/was £800 ($1600) which is cheap at my age (17)

 :cry:that mean i have to sell 2500 cpd’s
chris
chr15_8Participanti would try and get hold of a syringe put a few drops into it. suck water into it so it goes cloudy then squirt it into the breeder next (some might get out but there nothing you can do.
the drops might be to big for them
chris
chr15_8Participanti find it easy to keep them alive and they seem hardy.
how are you feeding your liquifry?
chris
chr15_8Participantit will end up costing alot more than what i said after you add filter heaters etc like you said
dont think many people would be interested in my car at the moment
has about £500+ ($1000+) worth of damage to it at least could be talking £700 ($1400) (depends whats behind the bodywork
oh plus another £400 ($800) for the cars bumper i hit
i changed from fully comp to 3rd party about a month ago as they wanted an extra £1200
chris
chr15_8Participantso was i
it will cost about £300 ($600) to build and i need that to repair my car
chris
chr15_8Participantthis wont be happening fora long time now

Oh, bad idea to drop fry in on another tank with bigger fish! The new fish are always lacking “home ground” advantage, and even more so when they’re babies! Don’t forget that most fish don’t have maternal instinct like mammals do… so they will eat their young!
sorry was meant to say into my fry tank! (one of the older fry eat it but was only twice the size)
chr15_8Participant@ste12000 wrote:
, if they take it use this for two feeds and use powdered ZM 100 for the third.
.need to get some of this
how do you feed it
sorry for going slightly off topic
chris
chr15_8Participant:o
just found another 2 fry however when i put them in on of my other cpds came straight to the surface and snatched it!
couldnt believe it! and after saying i havent lost 1 single fry in another fry
chris
chr15_8Participantliqui fry
on the bottle it says to feed 1 drop per 4 litres 2-4 times adayi feed mine by having the drop about 1cm from the water surface (if you look in the tank you will see small white partical’s sink down)
i also put the 8-20 drops into a syringe and add about 10 ml of water and 5ml of air. i then shake for a few seconds and it will be cloudy i then squirt it into the tank for the fry to eat (this is good for fry a few weeks old as its small
this seems to work very well and havent had one loss yet!
chris (hope it makes sense)
chr15_8Participantmines at 23 degrees celsius.

cheers all,
I dont have any filter or water movement in there at all, thats why i change the water every day (water is taken from the breeding tank with 100% change – i gently syphon out 50%, top it back up again, then syphon another 50% before topping back to full so i dont disturb the fry too much). I have got a net breeding thingy to go into the main tank but i wanted the fry to be a little bit bigger before they went in there, as i found with my pencilfish fry that they survived only after they had been free swimming for a few days first.
Ill try the feed before water change method though – makes sense, and after about a week ill put them into the net breeder i think – give that ago!
many thanks
i think that might be why as there will be no bacteria (i might be wrong)
i would put it straight into the breeding net as it will have more chances of living in my opinion
