Neat selection, Crazedpuffer. You have good taste!

Yeah, the “two javas” (Java Moss and Java Fern) are probably the best plants you can get for any tank. Hardy, well-behaved, lush, the list goes on…

Have a DIY CO2 reactor. It works great! I’ve also noticed that the glass/ceramic diffuser works better than the Hagen “step-ladder” -type diffuser.

Haven’t quite mastered substrates yet… am using fine white lake sand and it seems to be OK but plants don’t seem to be rooting as well as they could be. Need to research this more.

Yup, I love plants. Gotta have em. Real ones only, no plastic ones, ever!

Nope, they all have fish in it. But my focus is a little more in favor of the plants, i.e. less fish than you would expect for a tank that given size.

There must be a way to make money from a hobby you enjoy… (still brainstorming with myself)… if you have any ideas share them… maybe it could be a group effort…

Oh yeah I’m all about plants. I don’t know all their species names, but I have lots of them, and also CO2 in my tanks.

But back to the topic… yeah! Argento Goldfish is a nice name!

OK, I wasn’t able to find any sign of my post where I first mentioned “silverfish”.

I changed Atlantis’ post back to the correct owner.

I have no clue how this happened, but I’m guessing it’s a rare glitch where there’s some kind of “collision”, and my post disappeared because they both had the same IDs… however, I incorrectly became the owner of the follow-up post.

I’m hoping this is rare… maybe something to do with HTTP POST submissions, if you wanna get technical… but let me know if you see anything like this again!

Hopefully it’s not some hacking going on!

    Yikes! That’s weird!

I have no clue how that happened. Let me dig into the database tables and see if it’s something I can fix…

Awesome photos, ste12000! Tx for the post. I have 2 of these Sterba’s Corydoras in my tank. In total, I have 7 Corys. They are a cute awesome fish!

    Tx for the tip ste12000.

Yeah I had heard of bristlenose plecos, but never really considered it because I’m looking for tiny fish/crustaceans to do the job, given that I have small setups.

Also, hmm yeah I should look into the phosphates issue.

Oh yes, another note… most of the Internet will try to recommend you fish like Siamese / Chinese Algae Eaters, or Flying Foxes. Apparently these guys are really not that effective. Also, they need quite a bit of space and are not ideal in small tank setups. Also I find that most snails don’t eat string / hair algae.
