I’m from Vancouver, BC. I have 16 of these guys and are probably going to get more. There is a store there that sells them for $2.50/ea (captive bred, of course). I simply can not get enough of these things and am probably going to do a 90gl of just them as the main fish, plus whatever else.

i talked to a fish store owner about these, and she said that there are locals breeding them and selling for store credit.

Alberta girl here. Not trying to breed at moment. Have other fisk babies to look after and raise.

Doesn’t help that I broke my 10 gallon galaxy tank so they’re in with the corys, neons and whiteclouds in the ‘Amazon’ 22 gallon. They love it though. Color has really brightened.

To be honest I’ve too many fish to breed proper. Thinking of donating a non breed worthy dwarf platy and almost the two almost grown up ones from the first birthing, and shuffling tank divider(s). That’d do alot to clear up space.

But some day, some day I’ll do it and raise some galactic babes I swear.

Maybe a month or some, dunno.

Portland, Oregon over here. I lucked out as my lfs is very specialized. The usual lfs don’t carry any fish of this ‘exotic’ magnitude, as they call it. However, I’m sure there are at least some out there, most likely in community tanks, though.

If anyone’s around the area, give me a holla

Hey Crazed i work out there quite frequently..though don’t get to visit all the good shops while at work..work vans have gps on them…so no side trips…anyway try franksaquarium.com he located in Lyndhurst i believe..he generally has CPDs and if not can prob. get them quite easily…

Here NJ i found one store that gets them in from a local breeder.

how come you don’t have any?? do you have other tanks goings?? i’m planning on starting up a small reef tank and i kno LI has some good reef shops so may have to take a trip out there on my own.

    Take it easy

I’m still around here in MN (the other guy armageddon was talking about) — but haven’t checked in for awhile. Just got a pile more fry (50 maybe?) when I pulled all the adults out of the breeding tank and put them into a community tank. Was going to tear down the breeder, but guess it’s up for another bunch of weeks now!!

I managed to disperse a few groups of F1 adults at our last local fish club auction, so maybe more breeders coming out of the middle of the continent…

Fishmode, is that a M. erythromicron in your avatar? How many other danionins have you got?
