Where do you keep your fry?

Hey. I discovered my first fry the other day and placed them in a net in the same tank. There was 3 originally but 2 died so I abandoned the net. Plus i’d discovered more free swimming in the main area of the tank which i’d unsuccessfully attempted to catch. So, what do you do with your fry? Also, has anyone ever witnessed one being eaten by an adult? Thanks!
I was keeping them in the net in main tank, as they got a bit bigger i removed them and put them in a seperate tank. Unfortunately that’s when I had a fault with my heater and lost 13 out of 14 babies! Not happy. For some reason I’ve not had any babies since.
Once I move I will have a spawning tank and prob keep the babies in there until they are a good size then move them to a growing out tank.
I’ve not witnessed the fry being eaten by the adults, but have heard they will.
