    Hi All,

As with last summer, i have stumbled across an old bucket of rainwater in my yard full of bloodworms and mosquito larvae
which I have been netting and feeding to my tigers barbs and CPD’s (they go crazy for them)
but i notice there are tiny small white worms also in the stagnant water…anyone know what these are?
Can they be food to my fish like the b/worms and mossies?

If it helps, they look like a “s” shape and move by wriggling and consorting back on themselves (mosquito larvae style)

    Thanks
    Ollie

it’s some kind of nematode, I’ve seen them in ponds and stagnant water before
