The detail on the gorgonian polyps is especially nice. What sort of magnification do you estimate you are getting on those close shots?

The camera has a macro mode. I am clueless really when it comes to photography. I just get lucky sometimes. The photo of the ghost pipe shrimp, purple pillowtop, & purple gorgonian were taken by my friend Tizzo. I should have noted that.

    Hi Waterfaller,

Thx again for sharing the plant specs on your freshwater tank. Are you by any chance influenced by Takashi Amano? Have you seen any of his books? I just got my first Amano book last week and it gave me lots of aquascaping ideas.

Keep up the great living artwork!!

Hi Celestialdude :) I haven’t seen the books, but hear they are great! This tank was the one that inspired me most.

Here is my new tank. I need to take some new pics because this is where it was still in it’s newly set up yellow water stage.
I got some pelia in twice, one was dwarf. Neither survived shipping in good shape, but I see a glimmer of a possible comeback.

Wow nice. You’ve taken that idea and improved it leaps and bounds. Makes me wanna start another tank.

I’m back everyone. Here’s some updated pics!
I am thinking again of possibly keeping cpd’s in the tank on the right. What do you think?
    The nanos

dwarf puffer lives in the tank on the left

A ten gal. I set up a few weeks ago that will have crystal red shrimp

    New tank, waiting on plants

that last tank is for Thai, my new betta from Thailand

    SIMPLY BREATHTAKING…….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The CPDs would go nicely in that tank on the right. They are the perfect fish for this kind of “nano” setup.

How many would be ok, so they won’t be uncomfortable? Thanks for such a nice compliment. 8)

Well….. given the size of the tank… I think 5 would be the absolute max. Maybe 3 would be more comfortable, but they are schoolers so that may be too few…. just my opinion. Anyone else?

Fantabulous!!! Tx Waterfaller and keep on posting these great photos. I especially like the “new 20-gallon” with the curvy branches. That is a real work of art!!!
