Tankmates : how about the Giant Danio?

Does anybody know if the Giant Danio will get along with a fish like the Celestial Pearl Danio?
I’m a bit concerned because it is a bigger fish. Anybody has any relevant experience? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

if you do i dont think they would get along due to the size difference as that website says it can grow to 10cm where as cpd’s reach about 2.5 cm. so i woulld assume the cpd’s would be food giant danio

Yeah that’s the one. Hmm… better not try it then. Unless anyone has any experiences proving that it’s safe…..

I keep zebra/leopard/pearl danios with WCMM’s in a 100L community tank. In my experience it seems to be the females of the danios that present the biggest threat. Mine are rather territorial in particular the leopards, albeit they only chase the other fish rather than fin nip them.
However there are many factors that can dictate fish behaviour, so as i said this is purely my own point of view.
That said and done you could also consider that giant danios are pretty much mid to surface fish and CPD’s tend to stick to the bottom, depending on cover height of course (correct me if i am wrong). So with some decent planting etc they should stay out of each others way.
I’ve chosen not to mix my CPD’s, plus to be honest i think a species tank of CPD’s is a crackin sight to see. Even if you do have to look a little harder to appreciate them !
