Looking for a supplier near Hastings East Sussex, failing that can anyone recommend a mail order company
Don’t know of any myself. My local Maidenhead has some but they aren’t cheap (£4.25 each) and sadly miles (Yorkshire) from you. I would be happy to buy and post some for you but the postage wouldn’t be cheap and obviously I couldn’t guarantee live arrival although it would be special delivery so they would be covered. They are good fish though. Wild caughts, I got mine from them, and they are superb fish and breeding now.

would you recommend wild caught or captive bred, I don’t intend to breed them myself ( well not on purpose at any rate).
Most shops still list them as Galaxy Rasbora that’s why I didn’t get any hits when I searched for them.steve
When they were first described they were calle Galaxy rasboras, they have seen been put in the right group of fish and given their current name.
I personally would go for healthy wilds every time IF possible. I was just lucky that my shop had(still has) wilds.
That isn’t to dismiss captive bred just be wary of inbreeding. My youngsters are F1s from the wild parents and colouring up very nicely. I just wont be inbreeding these.
