Hey cool! I’m the first to post in this section.
Thanx for the new ones, celestrialdude!
Anyway, I’ve been researching goldfish, and have found there are a limited amount of silver goldfish but they are not a “true” silver or only partially silver, and nobody is actively breeding them to be that way. Why, I don’t know. There are a bunch of really, really butt-ugly goldfish…
Only place I’ve seen them is the “feeder fish” section. Not a healthy place to get them. Maybe I can get closer to the source though…
In history, when the Japanese began breeding goldfish, they prefered the “gold” ones, and did not breed the silver ones. Hence forth, the silvers should have disappeard. And yet, they still exist, albeit, usually unwanted.
Do you think there is a potential market for good-looking silver goldfish?
Name is oxymoron I know, but aside from that?
Let me know what you think. I’m not doing anything yet, just research and musing.
