I am going to redo my 6 gallon Fluval Edge and I was looking for a small schooling fish. I have an Iwugami layout style. I would like a schooling fish that is easy to watch.

I know that CPD’s tend to be shy, but if I put a fair amount in the tank will they become more brave? Also, I was looking at the smaller neon tetra’s, any opinions?

I would like to put about 6 fish in the tank.

Please tell me your suggestions! :o

I wouldn’t think that the Iwugami layout would provide enough cover to make CPD’s happy. You might have better luck with Danio tinwini… these grow to be just slightly larger than CPD’s

Or perhaps one of the tiny Rasboras.

Best of luck with you new set-up!

I tried this a while ago, and I think because of the size of the rock I used it was successful, the CPDs hid behind the rock and in the small “caves” between the rock
