Moss or Mop?

    I was just wondering what you all prefer for spawning….moss or a mop. I am setting up my first tank and plan to use Dennis’ egg trap but wondered which spawning medium seemed to work best.

    I find that they like moss as a cover. The eggs don’t stick to sink to the tank floor anyway

    I use both, but I think moss works better with the “little” Danios like CPD’s.

    I think it is more a case of what the fish prefer not us. After saying that, I use moss, never tried a mop but thinking about it

    Mine tend to breed in the tangle of roots from my Hygro
