I just have to say it because everyone in ‘real life’ would think I’d gone nuts if I said what I think over and over again.
I FREAKING LOVE THESE FISH!!!
They are beautiful beyond words. Especially in their courting colors, which mine now are in.
I swear I will do all I can to help the wild ones stay wild, and have stores sell only captive bred ones. I have to, especially since I didn’t know what the issues surrounding them when I bought them.

the males looks very brightly coloured
and they are all amazing to watch chasing/darting around the tank

Yeah, they’re amazing, I think they’re the closest thing to a “miniature” trout.

That’s what it reminded me of the first time I saw it.
