Infusoria or Microworms as first food?

Does anyone recommend one or the other..
I have no infusoria and feeding microworms would be much easier for me but I have not read anything on this forum about microworms as first food. I have more babies now and are going to be eating soon so any help would be great.

I put a few pieces of old driftwood they get the initial food from micro organizems growing there and feed them walterworms and golden pearls. It works for me.
