How do i make some green water fo the fry and how much should i feed them. Why is this green water good for them and what do thwy eat in greenwater. i have been feeding the fry frozen brine shrimp and very small powered food. They seem to be eating it as they are still alive. would this be ok to feed them.
I use a 2 liter bottle, fill it up 3/4 with tank water. get some old lettuce or some plant clippings, mash em up a bit and then put them in there. Leave it in a window sill a few days and you’ll have green water.
An easier method that I use, is in my newborn nursery tank, I leave the light on 24/7, and keep a large bunch of java moss in there. Between the extreme lighting and plants, there are plenty of critters for the babies to munch on.
