I collected 60 -80 per week , I used a 68 litre 2 males 4 females I had it pretty much packed with moss. I personally did water changes with cooler water then fed with frozen or live food, it seemed to trigger breeding behavior almost immediately. Right now I have all I can handle 200 + between 4 months and 3.5 years.
I looked at your tank that work, are you removing the adults after spawning?

They will. I have seen fry in the holding tank I use before selling my fish, I have been selling the fish between 4 and 7 months of age. This time I am going to raise a bunch to adulthood. This is the 3+ year old wild caught male I use for breeding I think he is pretty close to dying he is quite grey, but he is still alpha in a tank of 8 males
