Yo i found a store here in Jersey that has them, they are locally bred as well. Also i have found a great website that has them but i don’t know if he ships across the pond where ya’ll are at.

Well the store in Jersey is ‘Pet Shanty’ in scotch plains, they are selling tank raised for 9.99; they are kinda small still but bigger now then when i purchased mine.

As for the website it’s franksaquarium.com seem’s like reputable dealer. but have yet to purchase anything from him.

i as well would like to start a breeding group but space is an issue as well what am i gonna do with the fry? Shanty can’t seem to sell them as i am the only so far to buy any. But who knows what i’ll end up. May jus get the urge to throw some tanks together and go at it.

breeder who my lfs deals wit has 150 of these growing out. Question tho…how many fry come from a spawn, my lfs gets 30 at a time, could these be all from one spawn or a few diff. parent fish?

Sounds like NJ has a few who can get together — great!!

Anyone else here smack in the middle of the continent? I’m in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and would also be interested in getting together with other breeders. My 6 adult males and 3 females have generated over 50 fry in the last 7 days, and several more seem to be hatching out every day. It would be nice to mix in some new stock for the next generation of breeders!
