    Hi everyone-
I’m new to planted tanks and new to CPDs. I have a 46-gallon bowfront, fully cycled, co2 injected, planted tank. Currently, I have 6 juli cory cats, one bristlenose pleco, one male pearl gourami and 21, yes, 21 CPDs that I just got from LiveAquaria. They were on sale for $4 or $5 each. They’ve been in there for two days now and they seem extremely comfortable in my tank. They’re eating and shoaling and exploring. It’s really fun.
I’m thinking of adding one or two female pearl gouramis, but things are so peaceful right now I also don’t want to throw off the balance and have the male become aggressive with my CPDs. If anyone has ideas about this, please let me know.

Welcome and what a great shoal you must have!!! CPDs don’t seem to like larger open water fish but if your tank is heavily planted then they should be fine. Just keep an eye on them
