difference between sentbox and outbox?

    im trying to send a message to another member but the message i have sent remains in the outbox, but all my older messages are in the sentbox.

    could someone please explain this one to me? :oops:

    i believe the messages in the sentbox have been recieved by the person you have sent it to and the the messages in the outboxs havent been read/opened yet.

    im sure this is how it is however i may be wrong but im sure someone will correct me.
