I am currently planning a 5 gallon bowfront tank with red cherry shrimp and celestial pearl danios. How many should I get and how many of each gender? I want to be able to raise a few fry. I plan on keeping mainly stem plants and HC plantwise.

Hi Axelrodi202!

A trio would work great, one male & two female.

You’ll need some dense floating plants if you want to raise some fry in with the parents.
