    If a female is of spawning age and there is no male to spawn with can this hurt the female. Will she be unable to spawn/retain eggs leading to eventual death?

    Not that I know of, I had a female alone in a one gallon for over 6 months. She didn’t die. I had trouble finding more stock around where I live. She died after spawning many times for me, I guess from stress and stuff….
