I started work today at the petstore where I handed when out, way back when. And they still are selling the typical 1/2 gallon betta kits (rather inevitable :roll: ) but the holding “cups” are more 5x larger, which is a good start.
It does look good. Just one little comment about that inch per gallon rule, it basically only applies to longish slender cyprind fish (like danios) but you did say general rule of thumb so it’s fine.
Yeah…true, but I wanted people to think of bettas as having needs like other fish. And who would put a fish in a tank, as small as a 2 gallon that isn’t a betta (even if it’s betta sized, minus the tail)? Just doesn’t happen.
