I am patiently waiting to find a good deal. I recently discovered these beauties and bought 6 online only to lose most of them. I haven’t bought from anyone on Aquabid, so I am really looking for a reputable place to purchase. If you have good stock and are willing to ship, please let me know how much! I would be looking to get maybe 10, depending on the cost plus shipping. I live about 45 min away from Nashville, if anyone might know of a local place that sells them. I would drive a bit for them..
Thanks in advance

I’m in Ohio and usually have some available. Mine are young, healthy, tank raised fish – not imports.

PM me if you are interested.

I was not sure if that was due to not having a large quantity ready. I did manage to locate some on another forum that I have pre paid for. I wasn’t sure that I could PM you. I thought I might only be able to go through the other outlet to contact you, but I now know and appreciate knowing that I can message you in the future. (I may take you up on that) You seem to have a great reputation among the forums for the health of your fish and what you sell.
What I have just purchased will be wild caught, though he said he has had them for a few weeks and they are eating well. Do you have any recommendations on how I care for them when I first get them? I do not want to lose any from this batch so I want to take all precautions I can to ensure they stay healthy.Do you have any other Danio species outside of what you just listed on AB? Rasboras perhaps? I have been bitten by the micro fish bug!

When I purchase wild caught fish the two biggest hurdles are the poor shape they are in when I receive them and getting them to eat properly. It sounds as though your seller has taken care of these problems for you! I would ask what they are feeding the CPD’s and see if perhaps they would include a bit of the food when shipping the fish. I started doing this several years ago and it seems to be a big help with the transition period for the fish.
Provide them with lots of cover as wild fish can be super timid. Without cover for them to hide it will lead to stress and then all sorts of stress related problems can occur.

I’m working with about 20 different danios. All that I have currently available are listed on AB. No Rasboras as yet. I do plan to have some tank raised Danio erythromicron, often called the Emerald Dwarf Rasbora, this fall though.
Best of luck with your new fish!

There were a few situations that kept the seller from getting them out on time and I have been worried about their condition, as I did not know the specifics of their care during this time. I am happy to report that they look fantastic and seem to have adjusted very quickly. They were eating and I have had the pleasure of watching some of them play today. I am very glad!! I now have 14 of them and they will be in their final species only tank hopefully in the next week. I love them, so pretty!!

Hi capsfan95, welcome to the forum!
I’ve got lots of fry, but nothing to sell. When the weather cools off enough that it’s safe to ship USPS Priority this fall I will be listing on AquaBid again.
