Hello everyone, I’m a 34, got 4 kids and 5 fish tanks, 1 dog, 2 cats and bottom of the priority list is my very understanding husband. Goodness knows how he puts up with me! But then, he’s in the forces, so not home much anyway. (besides, he bought me my first tank. Little did he know that it would trigger a severe case of mts-multiple tank syndrome)
I have a 190L corner tank which is a planted community with a couple of plecs, cardinal tetras, albino corydoras, zipper loach, betta (until I can rehome him or find another freebee tank for him)
4ftx1ftx15″ low light planted tank housing my 18 wild cpd’s, a dozen pygmy cories and 8 amano shrimp
(2 X) 2ftx1ftx1ft grow out tanks for cpd fry.
8″x12″ spawning tank.
So far one grow out tank has around 30+ fry at 7weeks old. The other has a similar number of fry less than a week old. I think I might divide these two tanks, giving me 4 sections for different size fry and possibly to seperate the sexes once old enough.
To help pay for my obsession, I work part time in a local farm shop/butchers
I think that’s about it.
One other thing, anyone wanting to swap cpd fry when ready, I’m more than happy to do so. Like for like.
