Reply To: Breeding less desirables or not?
Well natural selection doesn’t always pick the most beautiful creatures.
Humans on the other hand rather have the pretty ones. 
Now, for example, I have a small ( but fully adult ), pale female that doesn’t look as good as the others. I assume that other people also have ones that look less nice as the others.
I for one believe that the beautiful coloaration and golden ‘sparkle’ of this fish ought to be mantained even if that means fewer born in capitivity.
I’d hate to see these fish plentiful but dull looking in a few years. That’s make me wish they’d never been found at all
