aah! my guppy fry always go to the surface first then after a few hours if i havent spotted them and scooped them out they dive down to the plants to hide at which point i cant net them 
so they have to fend for themselves…which they usually manage! if they’re fast enough to dodge my net they’re fast enough to dodge the big hungry fish! :shock:
i have some floating plants in the galaxy tank and they’re about 1-3 inches from the top. so maybe they’ll use that. not too concerned about the fry surviving in there as the galaxies are always at the bottom and dont even come to the middle let alone the top, so i’m confident any fry will survive from being gobbled so long as they get to the upper part of the tank and dont get gobbled on the way there. oh when will it be my turn! everyone else finds this breeding lark so easy! :roll: 
if you’ve had them breed once i’m sure you’ll get more and you’ll be better prepared for next time!
