Quality of food is also important in maintaining their ideal size and colors.

I would recommend some “whole foods” in their diet like tubifex, bloodworms, daphnia, and etc., whether dried, frozen or whole. Nothing beats a good diet!

I just bought some “Sera” brand dried daphnia, looking forward to feeding them that when I’m back from my vacation!
