Reply To: water hardness

Hi a_c, I wouldn’t worry too much about the hardness of your water, I have hard water, everything furs up with limescale, and a ph of 8, but still getting spawning, if not huge numbers of fry. (up to 13 now)
I know what you mean about being impatient, I’m scanning the tank constantly looking for fry, it took 2 months before I saw my first. Seriously want to set up a spawning tank, but still need to rehome my Betta first!
