Infusoria from heavily planted tank (does a heavily planted tank naturally have enough to feed 50 cpd fry?)

    and

    Hikari first bites.

    1. Will this yeild a high percentage of surviving fry? What percentage? (I am separating adults after they lay eggs).

    2. What do you feed, and percentage of yeild?

For the first 7 to 10 days I feed green water/infusoria & Golden Pearls 5-50 micron size. After that it’s fresh bbs, worms (ie micro, walter, etc) and Golden Pearls.

Can day 1 old cpd fry eat live brine shrimp?

I am thinking of making my own live brine shrimp, is this good for breeding cpds?

They are just a bit too small to take brine shrimp as a first food. I usually start mine on bbs at 7 to 10 days. I feed all my extras to the adult breeders – they love it!
