    2.5g high tech tank, soley for breeding adults and then taking them out once eggs are layed.

    Was planning on having a carpet of thick dwarf baby tears and red ludwigia in background. Will these plants work for laying eggs or should I also put java moss somewhere (maybe make a wall of moss on background or on piece of driftwood).

    That’s an interesting question. I would think that any eggs that fall below the thick cover would be protected from the parents. You will have to keep us posted as to how this works out.
