How to make green water for the fry

How do i make some green water fo the fry and how much should i feed them. Why is this green water good for them and what do thwy eat in greenwater. i have been feeding the fry frozen brine shrimp and very small powered food. They seem to be eating it as they are still alive. would this be ok to feed them.

I fill a bucket with some aged tank water. Throw in a handful of grass clippings and set it out in the sun for a few days.

The green water contains micro algae and lots of other tiny critters that your baby fish will eat.
