Sick Pearl died with white egg like things inside

Hi all,
One of my pearls has just died after a few days of being ill. It started with a lump on it’s side that looked like an open sore, but the lump appeared to come from inside. I isolated it in broad spectrum medication but after a few days it died. I squeezed the sore after it died and a bunch of round white egg looking things came out. Any ideas what this could have been? I lost another one last week but had no idea why as the RCS got to it first.
I dont expect them to be actual eggs as it’s winter in Australia … ?
Any ideas or advice most welcome.
When ever I hear about fish that have open sores the first thing that comes to mind is Fish Tuberculosis.
Not to say that’s what your fish had, but be very careful as it can cause health problems for people too.
I’m not much help when it comes to health problems… my little CPD’s have proven to be almost bullet proof. Knock on wood…

Thanks – but not heard of TB in fish and we rarely get TB here in Australia. What can I do just in case it’s TB?
Lost another one yesterday. They seem to have a bloody sore on one side just behind the gills (about middle of the body – little bit toward the front) that seems to be just under the skin. It’s about twice as round as their eye in size. I tried to get a shot but my camera just isnt up to it – very annoying.
I seperated it into a tank with broad spectrum medicine with no luck. I dont want to lose any more – anyone got any ideas please!!

Hi there, sorry for your losses. I know this is an old post but the information my help someone else. It sounds like it might be some type of parasite.
This is a nifty little diagnostic tool to help diagnose fish disease/parasites/ailments etc…
